I'm the proud founder of Ella's Study Spot. My journey in education began at Sussex University, where I graduated in 2020 with a first-class degree in Primary Education with QTS.
After that, I hit the ground running as a KS2 teacher, working with Years 4, 5, and 6 across two different schools. During this time, I had the privilege of leading classes of 32 energetic learners who made incredible progress and looked forward to coming to school every day. It was here that I truly discovered the power of connecting learning to each child’s interests and how engaging, interactive activities can make learning not only effective but also fun.
I saw firsthand the difference personalised attention can make, even within a larger group. But imagine the impact of that same dedication and creativity in a 1:1 or small group setting! That’s exactly why I created Ella's Study Spot—to offer tailored, focused support that helps each child reach their full potential.
I’ve expanded my expertise by working with the Local Authority to support children with SEN and acting as an exam paper moderator for local grammar schools. I’m also wrapping up an MSc in Psychology, which has further enriched my understanding of the best teaching methods for children with diverse needs.
Since launching Ella's Study Spot on Instagram in May 2024, I’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response from the local community. This business is my passion, and I’m committed to helping every child I work with build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their goals. I’m excited to bring my experience, enthusiasm, and love for teaching to help your child succeed!
