At Ella's Study Spot, my small group sessions are designed with a maximum of four children, ensuring that learning remains personalised and tailored to each child’s individual needs. With my experience as a former KS2 specialist teacher, I’m able to provide the same high level of 1:1 support you'd expect from private tutoring, while fostering an interactive and engaging environment where children can bounce ideas off each other, build confidence, and thrive in a less pressured setting that optimises learning.
I also make it a point to discover shared interests among the children and ask them about their current passions to help me plan and resource my lessons.

What truly sets my small group sessions apart is the balance between individual attention and the benefits of group learning. Children love the healthy competition, teamwork, and collaboration, which not only makes learning more enjoyable but also boosts motivation. For those working towards the 11+, being part of a group with peers of similar ability drives them to improve and achieve their goals together.
