After years in the classroom, I saw firsthand how challenging it was to meet every child's individual needs. That's why I created Ella's Study Spot—to provide personalised support that helps each child thrive. Whether it's building confidence, filling learning gaps, or preparing for the 11+, I’m here to help.
I offer small group evening sessions for Year 3 to Year 6 students, as well as daytime sessions for home-educated learners across KS1 and KS2. Every session is designed to be interactive, supportive, and tailored to your child's needs.

Book through the website and I will be in touch to organise a day where I can come visit you and your child. I complete some light assessments and we discuss goals for the future.

With a proven track record of successfully tutoring for local grammar schools like Wilson's, Nonsuch, Wallington County, and Sutton Grammar, my sessions focus on key exam areas: creative writing, Maths reasoning, grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension.
Using high-quality resources, I conduct termly mocks to track progress, filling learning gaps and using the papers to plan future lessons accordingly. The aim is to teach Year 6/7 objectives that will not be covered in school in time, ensuring that by the time of the September exams, your child will not be going in blind and are fully prepared.
As part of a team that helps moderate local grammar papers, I have insider knowledge of the exact level required, frequently tested content, and expert tips!

On our way home he said he had a confession, his confession was that although we had done fractions together before and at school he said it was the first time he truly understood how to do fractions of amounts. He did half his homework yesterday and he said he was looking forward to doing the rest today- it doesn’t get better than that. Thank you again for an amazing session.
